Important Note

Fresh stool should be tested immediatly or refrigerated up to 24 hours.  
Fecal collection tube stored up to 6 days room temp or 30 days refrigerated.

A specimen should not be collected from a patient with the following conditions that may interfere with the test results: Menstrual bleeding, Bleeding hemorrhoids, Constipation bleeding, Urinary bleeding.
